I am a licensed mental health counselor and certified hypnotherapist with 15 years of experience in human services. Before moving to New York, I worked at several notable Boston institutions, including the Trauma Center's pioneering Yoga Services program, the McLean-Franciscan Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Program, and completed a clinical internship at the Child Witness to Violence Project at Boston Medical Center.

My treatment style is relational, holistic, and flexible. I sincerely believe that mental health symptoms are expressions of imbalance and not an innate part of you; that you are fundamentally capable of healing. With the right ingredients, including a good match between patient and therapist, transformation is possible.  I strive to understand each person within the unique context of their life story, value awareness and openness around power dynamics, and am LGBTQ affirmative.

I am a member of the meditation teaching faculty of the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science. I served as Tricycle Magazine's Dharma Talk teacher for May 2017 and taught their Meditation Month series in March 2018. Both can be found online at tricycle.com.
