HOW IT WORKS
Assessment and Goal Setting
The therapist and client discuss the client's history, challenges, and goals. This initial phase helps identify specific issues to address and sets a foundation for treatment.
Therapeutic Techniques and Interventions
The therapist employs a wide variety of techniques to help clients develop new perspectives and adaptive skills. These can include exploring relational patterns, direct challenging of distorted beliefs, and teaching new tools like mindfulness, breathing exercises, and cognitive restructuring. Techniques are tailored to each client’s unique needs and therapeutic goals.
PSYCHOTHERAPY
Psychotherapy is a therapeutic process that involves engaging in structured conversations with a trained mental health professional to address emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues. There are many approaches to psychotherapy, such as relational, psychodynamic, and contemplative, that they help people explore and understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. This exploration aims to uncover the underlying patterns and issues contributing to distress. By fostering self-awareness and developing healthier coping mechanisms, psychotherapy promotes personal growth, emotional resilience and improved mental health.
